It's official! Your invitation to our December 17th, 2011 performance at Nottingham High School from 6:00 to 8:00 pm has been printed! Please sign and return the confirmation notice and check the spelling of your performer's name carefully. We will use the spelling you submit for the program. Click here for directions to Nottingham High School. Dress RehearsalWinter Wonderland dress rehersal will be held December 11th, 2011 at the Gotta Dance! studio. Be sure to check your time on the Dress Rehearsal Schedule handout. Buy Advance Sale Tickets Today & Save!Advance Sale Tickets are now available for purchase at the studio through December 15th! Save $2 off general admission per adult ticket and take them home the same day. Gotta Dance! Performing Arts Studio is not responsible for lost tickets, so please remember to bring them to the performance. 12.4.11 | Class PhotographsDayger Photography will be taking photos for Winter Wonderland Show dancers on December 10 starting at 12:00. Your child will be assigned a time to come and take class and solo pictures in costume. Please arrive on time in costume so that your child does not miss the photo shoot. Remember to bring all the dance shoes, costume pieces, tights, and headpieces so that the children match in the group photo. Hair should be up and away from their faces for the class pictures. Picture packages and customized novelty items featuring your dancer's photo, such as dance bag tags and trading cards, are available for purchase from Dayger Photography. The full list of options is available on the website. You can complete an order form available at the studio to get your pictures first. Payment is due when orders are placed. Pictures will be delivered to the studio, and we will call you as soon as they arrive. We are anticipating that pictures that are preordered will be available for pick up right around the end of December. Following the photo shoot, pictures will also be posted online at www.daygerphotography.com so that your family and friends can place orders. Click "Find my Pictures", then go to Gotta Dance! On October 29th, bring your friends and family to the studio for our 2nd annual Halloween Bash from 5-7pm! There will be costume contests for children and adults, games, dancing, food and fun prizes. Feel free to bring a dish or show off your new moves from class. This is family fun for everyone and best of all it is free - see you there! 10.8.11 | Bring a Friend to Dance!From October 2nd to the 15th, each student can bring two friends to try out a class for free. If the friends register and sign up for classes, they will all get a free pizza party! 10.8.11 | Friendly ReminderCostume deposits are due by October 10th. Measurements are being taken for holiday costumes. 9.26.11 | Observation WeekThis month, stop by and watch your dancers in action through October 24th to the 31st. Students may also show off their Halloween costumes for their dance buddies. If you would like to share treats with the class, please make sure treats do not contain peanuts, peanut products, such as peanut oil, or tree nuts. Check out our Summer Fun Sessions for Gotta Dance! Camp from July 5- August 19.  July 5-8: Red, White and Blue-America Dances Your child can choose to come every morning for a week, pick a day to attend that fits your family's busy schedule, or sign up for hour-long once a week classes. We also offer Dance Camp Intensives, so that your child can benefit from the expertise of our specialists, Miss Amanda, Miss Chelsea, and Miss Kara. This summer is the perfect time for your child to try something new, such as modern, funk, hip hop, lyrical, acro, cheer, leaps and turns, and Zumba. Students as young as two will be able to enjoy creative movement classes with our talented teachers. Performing Arts Studio on Saturday, June 11 from 12:00 noon. Please follow the class handout to coordinate make-up and tights for picture day. Children should arrive at their scheduled time in costume with their hair up and ready for pictures. Your child should also bring the dance shoes that will be worn during the performances at the recital. If your child is in more than one number, there will be enough time to change costumes. Our first recital date will be June 25th at the Palace Theater in Syracuse. The doors open at 6:00 PM and the show starts at 6:30! We will be happy to make special seating arrangements for you if you have a family member who needs easily accessible seating. Stop at the studio desk to reserve those seats by June 23rd. Purchase your recital tickets at the studio before 6/25 to save money! We also have a discount for senior citizens' tickets. Children ages 3 and under see the show for free. Payment is due when your order is placed. Dress Rehearsal Dress rehearsal will be held June 22nd from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Palace Theater. Don't forget to bring your costumes and dance shoes for all numbers! Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time. Reminder All costume and tuition balances must be paid before the dress rehearsal. Costumes will be sent home only when they have been paid in full. Students' tuition and costume bills must be paid in full in order to participate in the recital. 4.21.11 | Congratulations to Ellyn!Gotta Dance! would like to congratulate Ellyn Prusinowski for her fantastic performance in Camp Rock the Musical, a Syracuse Children's Theater production. Gotta Dance! collected over 100 books for our Read It Forward community service project! Read It Forward recently sent a thank you letter in appreciation. Beginning February, Zumba will be offered on Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm; Fridays 7:30-8:30 pm; Saturdays 3-4 pm; and Sundays 12:30-1:30 pm. Zumbatonics will be also offered Sundays 1:30-2:30 pm. On November 26th, Gotta Dance! Performing Arts Studio will be offering a Black Friday Blast to any students whose parents would like to go out and take advantage of the famous once a year sales! Drop your children off from 8 AM to 11 AM, 11 AM to 2 PM, or 8 AM straight though 2 PM and shop 'till you drop - worry free! We will provide breakfast in the morning session and lunch in the afternoon session as well as dancing, games, and crafts to keep. It will be $15 per child for three hours or $25 per child for the entire 6 hours. Gotta Dance! would like to thank everyone who braved the weather and came to our very first Hip Hop Convention! A special thank you goes out to our very own AJ Pascarella and special guest Michael Burton who had the studio jumpin' with their amazing moves. Later that evening, we had a real nice showing for our Halloween Bash where we had a variety of games and goodies for the students. Our entire staff had a great time and we thank everyone who made Gotta Dance! Studio part of their trick-or-treat routine. Gotta Dance! is having its first ever hip hop convention October 30th from 12-3pm. This convention is open to all ages and abilities and is $25 per student. Beginning October 20th, we will add Zumba Gold to our already busy class schedule! This is a Zumba class for beginners that is lots of fun! It is slightly slower paced than our regular Zumba class and is great for those looking for a beginning cardio workout that is based in Latin dance.
