Boot Camp - Work that Body!

Miss Gabby is teaching our intensive Boot Camp on Monday from 7-8 pm, and again on Thursday from 8-9:00 pm. Get ready to shed the winter clothes by toning those muscles. Shorts season is just around the corner. Try a Boot Camp session for only $5 a class!

ZUMBA is Back at Only $6 a Class!

Our Dance Cardio and Zumba® Workouts are a great way to tone muscles, improve your stamina, and burn off extra calories. Miss Amanda is now certified for Zumba®, and has added new classes to help you get fit for Spring! Still only $6.00 a class! Join us on:

Gotta Dance! will be closed on the following dates:

May 26-28 for Memorial Day Weekend. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 29th.
June 24-July 8. Summer Classes start Monday, July 9th and end August 18th.

Annual Gotta Dance! Recital

Our annual recital will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Nottingham High School. There will be two shows so that our younger dancers will be able to perform and participate in our end of show awards ceremony.

This venue has plenty of free parking, and lots of available seating, in addition to separate rooms for changing costumes. Dancers will be assigned to one of two dress rehearsal dates at Nottingham High School prior to the recital.

Bottled water and snacks will be available for purchase at both shows.

The June 23rd Gotta Dance! Performing Arts Recital will feature two shows. Our early show begins at 3:00 pm at Nottingham High School. The evening show begins at 6:00 pm. Dancers should arrive 30 minutes before showtime.

Dress Rehearsals will be held on June 20 and 21, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Nottingham High School.

Students should arrive 10 minutes before their assigned times in costume. Please make sure students bring the appropriate dance shoes and hair accessories.

All tuition and costume balances must be paid in full before dress rehearsals begin on June 20th.

Students will be performing in tan tap shoes for the recital on June 23rd. If your child needs tan tap shoes or tights, please complete the order form and turn it in at the front desk with your payment.

Please plan ahead for that extra pair of tights your child might need as backup. We cannot guarantee that there will be extra tights for purchase in all sizes at the recital. All tap shoes and tights must be ordered by April 30th. If you are experiencing hardship or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Gotta Dance! videos of the recital will be produced by Jason Maurer. Order forms will be available from Maurer Production Company shortly.

You can purchase your video by completing the order form and submitting it with payment made payable to Maurer Production Co. Please print your name, address, phone number, child's name, and class time carefully to ensure that there are no delays in processing your order. All payments and order forms must be mailed together to the videographer.

Videos will be delivered to the studio approximately three weeks following the recital. We will call you as soon as they come in.

Studio Picture Day: Class Photographs

Dayger Photography will be taking class photographs and individual photos at Gotta Dance! Performing Arts Studio on Sunday, June 3rd from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.

Please follow the class handout to coordinate make-up and tights for Picture Day. Children should arrive at their scheduled time in costume with their hair up and ready for pictures. Don't forget the hats or headpieces! Your child should also bring all the dance shoes that will be worn during the performances at the recital. If your child is in more than one number, there will be enough time to change costumes.

Picture packages and customized novelty items featuring your dancer's photo, such as dance bag tags and trading cards, are available for purchase from Dayger Photography. The full list of options is available on their website.

Payment is due when orders are placed. Please fill out one envelope per photo request. Following the photo shoot, proofs will be posted on the Dayger Photography site so that family and friends can place orders. Click "Find my Pictures", then go to Gotta Dance! Performing Arts Studio.

Parents may take their photographs of their own children at the Dress Rehearsals on June 20th-21st, or Recital on June 23rd.
